About the Author
Lindsey is a 2004 (AS) and 2005 (BS) graduate of the Purdue veterinary technology program. After graduation, she started working as a veterinary technician in the Purdue Comparative Oncology Program, where she has continued to work for the last 21 years. As a veterinary technician with PCOP, she has worked on the clinic floor along with being the lead technician for multiple clinical trials. Lindsey earned her VTS in oncology in 2022. Recently the PCOP transitioned into the Evan and Sue Ann Werling Comparative Oncology Research Center (WCORC). At the initiation of WCROC, Lindsey transitioned into the lead research technician supporting pet animal trials, where she works to recruit patients for clinical trials, with a focus in invasive urothelial carcinoma in canine patients. The favorite part of her job is providing support for clients and their pets during a difficult time. She also enjoys working with the difficult canine patients that are just misunderstood.
