About the Author
Rebecca is a VTS-EVN working as a clinical anesthetist and head nurse at the world’s first dual-species referral hospital, Abu Dhabi Equine and Camel Hospital, in the United Arab Emirates. She first studied applied science, majoring in equine science, and then completed a bachelor of veterinary technology at the University of Queensland, Australia. Following graduation, Rebecca has worked in many equine hospitals gaining new skills and developing a passion for equine anesthesia. She loves foaling season and is also a dachshund fanatic with her much-loved dachshund, Tinky, at her side whenever she is not working.
